Description

GENERAL INFORMATION

SOIL: sandy, very loose, and poor in organic substances, alluvial, rich in stone and potassium, with steep slopes and altitudes greater than 350 metres. A mix of two different parcels of dense mature vines.

GRAPES: malvasia nera.

WINEMAKING/REFINEMENT PROCESS: light destemming with partial crushing. Natural fermentation in steel tanks for 15-20 days and a very short maceration. Malolactic fermentation by aerating the new wine and stirring the fine lees. Maturation in steel for a few months with periodic stirring. Bottled without clarification or oenological additives, except for small doses of sulfur dioxide.

WINE: light ruby, beautiful in the light, with fresh floral and small wild berry aromas. It is juicy and delicate, as lean as it is flavorful and fun.
